HTC Kaiser Gets FCC Approval

FCC has approved three separate models of the upcoming 3G smartphone, the HTC Kaiser.

They all support GSM 850/1900 and HSDPA 850/1900 networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS functionality. The main difference between them is the embedded camera: Kaiser 100 is equipped with a 3Mpix digicam, the Kaiser 110 lacks the camera, and the Kaiser 120 comes with a dual-cam (VGA front, 3Mpix back), which allows for video calls.

LG LX260 Gets FCC Approval

The new LG LX260 was recently approved by FCC and will soon be available at Sprint.

Unfortunately, only a few specification details have been unveiled.

All we know for now is that LX260 has a slider form factor and a QWERTY keyboard, and features Bluetooth, built-in camera, and a microSD memory slot.

The long-awaited Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry phone will soon become available as FCC has recently approved such a device.

The new Motorola RAZR2 V9 awaits its approval from FCC and will be available at AT&T in the near future. This 3G cell phone uses HSDPA connectivity that allows downloading various web content at lightning fast speeds.

The new Sanyo SCP-8500, or Katana DLX, was spotted on FCC site recently. Basing on available documents and drawings, this clamshell handset will feature EV-DO data, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot, dual screens and a built-in camera. The dimensions have changed in comparison with the original Katana: the phone lost 3.8mm in height and 1.

Sony Ericsson M610I aka Elena got FCC Approval

The upcoming Sony Ericsson M610I "Elena" was recently approved by FCC, and some of its specs were uncovered. The device has insufficient storage capacity, but overall it looks like a serious phone.

Some of the M610I specs:

  • Connectivity: Tri-Band GSM 900/1800/1900, UMTS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  • Display: 2.

Sony Ericsson W660i Approved by FCC

Sony Ericsson W660i Approved by FCC

The new Sony Ericsson W660i Walkman Phone was approved by FCC and will soon hit the markets.


This little 3G phone comes with a 512MB memory stick micro (M2), which can hold up to 470 songs (eAAC+ format). Memory is expandable to 1GB. The W660i supports Bluetooth stereo and features the Track ID function, which allows to recognize a particular song playing on the phone's FM receiver.

Motorola Z6TV Gets FCC Approval

Motorola's upcoming MotoRizr Z6TV has been approved by FCC. Unfortunately, there are very little details known. The handset is expected to feature EV-DO, a 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and MediaFLO V CAST Mobile TV.

Samsung SGH-Z240E Mobile Phone Approved by FCC

The FCC has approved the upcoming Samsung SGH-Z240, a 1900 GSM/WCDMA Bluetooth cell phone. It has 1.393 mW of Max. RF Output Power with a frequency range of 2402-2480MHz.

Apple iPhone Finally Gets FCC Approval

The Apple iPhone has finally been approved by the FCC for the US. Unfortunately, with all the FCC test result data, there are no photos of the iPhone available due to Apple's prohibition on publishing them.

Looks like we'll just have to wait for the next 45 days to see the device.
