This absolutely dull looking clamshell is the new "Ischia" from Motorola. Sounds like someone sneezed, right?
Well, this phone has just been approved by the FCC, and apparently isn't bound for the U.S. market (thank goodness), as it lacks GSM 850. Other than that we know it also features Bluetooth and EDGE, and has a camera.

There's also a 67-page user guide included with no actual specs listed in it. Instead there's a lot of information on how to navigate the system, how to insert the memory card, and how to change the battery.

The new Sanyo Katana Eclipse has passed the FCC thus proving its existence. It was spotted in a Sprint roadmap two weeks ago, but was considered fake until now.
There is almost no information about it, but basically what we can say judging by the photo, it's a music-centric phone, similar in design to Katana LX. According to the roadmap, the Katana Eclipse should be launched before August 17th.

A new Pantech smartphone was spotted at the FCC site. There are very little details available about it yet, but judging by its model number C530 we can assume the handset is bound for AT&T. We know it will support quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, and will probably feature a QWERTY keyboard.
That's it for now. More details are to follow.

The upcoming Skypephone IM2 (until now it was known as S2) from 3 has just passed the FCC and apparently will soon be available for purchase. Unfortunately, we don't know when and where exactly, but the FCC approval means we can expect it in the U.S.
The device will use HSDPA data network instead of GSM to help users save on voice calls. You know, that's how Skype works.

RIM's BlackBerry Bold has been approved by the FCC for AT&T today. This means we can expect the handset to arrive pretty soon, though not sure when exactly. Anyway, they'd better hurry, as the iPhone 3G launches in less than twenty-four hours, and will definitely steal a solid part of the potential buyers...

FCC has unveiled the new HTC NEON400. It has a Touch Dual form-factor, i.e. the original Touch with a slider keyboard, and apparently supports CDMA 850 / 1900 bands. This means it could very well be launched on Sprint, Verizon, and Alltel networks - we'll just have to wait before it is officially announced by someone other than FCC.
