LG VX5400 Phone Got FCC Approval

LG VX5400 is a new clamshell CDMA phone.

It was recently tested for conducted emissions and radiated emissions. Radiated emissions were measured between 30 MHz to 2000 MHz. After passing the tests LG VX5400 has been finally approved by FCC.

The accessories of the LG VX5400 include car and travel chargers, batteries, pouches, body glove, cases, wireless headsets and hands-free.

Glofiish M700 Approved by FCC

At last E-ten Glofiish M700 Pocket PC got an approval from FCC.
The M700 has a full sliding QWERTY keyboard with backlit keys. The device runs on Windows Mobile 5.0, including mobile versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. It supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks as well as Wi-Fi. An integrated SiRF Star III chip provides GPS location data. MicroSD memory cards are supported.

Nokia N76 cellphone Approved by FCC

Nokia N76 cellphone Approved by FCC After a short delay the new Nokia N76 has been approved by FCC and will soon be available.

This 3G handset measures only 13.7mm and weighs 115 g. It features two displays: the main 2.4" QVGA TFT screen, and the secondary one of 1.36" capable of 262k colors. The N76 uses microSD memory cards with capacity up to 2GB.

The price should be EUR 390.

FCC Approved Nokia Communicator E90 for USA

Nokia E90 Communicator got the FCC approval. Nokia E90 is going to be released by T-Mobile soon. Although not offering 3G T-mobile says the handset will support such bands as' 850, 1700, and 1900MHz bands on a WCDMA network and 850 and 1900 in GSM.

FCC approves HipTop Sidekick

The FCC approved Sidekick a phone by T-Mobile. The device is produced by Danger and is called the HipTop. T-Mobile is the owns of the Sidekick brand. It's not known much about the device, but presumably it might be said that it's a tri-band GSM device, possibly with EDGE, without Bluetooth.

FCC approves Pantech a100

The Korean company manufactured a new phone Pantech a100 that got the FCC approval. This time it is a candybar phone that resembles the brick phones we once used to have.

The company developed Pantech a100 having the budget-minded in mind. a100 comes only in black and has rather simple design. The only one interesting feature it has is its' rocker-style joystick/navigator.

NEC has been working hard to offer some great looking affordable handsets and it succeeded very well in doing this. Recently the FCC approval got a new upcoming NEC N6207. The NEC 6207 is rather ultra-chic design and the cool color black/orange scheme. It also has good features inside like; a touch-screen display,1.3-megapixel with video capture, full multimedia capabilities like music and video player, built-in and Java games, WAP browser, USB, Bluetooth (modem/disk) among others.

Sony Ericsson W200a approved by FCC

An approval from the FCC approved got a new unannounced phone W200a by Sony Ericsson. The W200a phone is a part of the Walkman-branded series. According to what we know it will work in the States and will feature integrated camera . It is probable that the new W200, colored in Black with orange will be available in two or more colors.

McDowell FCC commissioner not going to vote in ATT / BellSouth case

New facts about AT&T / BellSouth merger appeared. Robert McDowell, the FCC commissioner, as is known earlier he recused himself from the vote, was recently re-approved to vote in the approval of AT&T's take over of BellSouth.

Although he announced that he will not do so. This fact leaves the panel in a 2-2 tie and probably more concessions will win approval.

FCC approves Samsung W531 a CDMA-GSM hybrid

A new clamshell phone got the FCC approval. Meet Samsung W531 which is a successor of the Samsung A790. The W531 device is dual-mode phone which is working in CDMA and capable of roaming in GSM networks. The phone has an internal antenna and 1.3 megapixel camera .
