Motorola Sidekick Slide for T-Mobile Unveiled by FCC

FCC has revealed today the new Motorola Sidekick Slide smartphone coming for T-Mobile.

The device looks similar to Sidekick 3, only its screen slides up instead of spinning around to uncover the five-line QWERTY keyboard underneath. Highlights include quad-band GSM/EDGE support, Bluetooth 1.2, 1.3Mpix camera, music player, microSD slot, messaging tools, and support for T-Mobile's MyFaves.

Sony Ericsson W910i Approved by FCC

Sony Ericsson W910i Approved by FCC

The new Sony Ericsson W910i has been approved by the FCC and will soon be available for purchase.

It is a 3G walkman phone measuring just 99 x 50 x 12.5mm and weighing in at 86 grams, which features HSDPA connectivity to deliver lightning fast data speeds, and offers full Java support.

The package includes: 1GB Memory Stick Micro card, battery, charger, USB cable, stereo portable handsfree, and PC sync application.

New Sony Ericsson T658c Approved by FCC

FCC has just approved the new Sony Ericsson T658c cell phone.

This handset is targeted at Chinese market and offers pretty cool features, including a 3.2Mpix photo/video camera, Java J2ME support, flight mode, music playback, and an integrated POP3/IMAP4 email client.

No word on pricing and availability yet.

Nokia RM-310 Phone Approved by FCC

Nokia's new RM-310 candy bar phone has just been approved by the FCC. There are no pricing or availability details available at the moment the handset should appear on the markets soon.

Here are some of its features:

  • 2Mpix camera with LED flash;
  • Bluetooth support;
  • microSD memory card slot;
  • USB data cable connectivity;
  • FM radio receiver with Visual Radio support;
  • Positioning feature (an external Bluetooth GPS receiver needed);
  • Java MIDP support;
  • Nokia's mini-map full-fledged web browser;
  • Quickoffice (Quickword, Quicksheet and Quickpoint).

Nokia LD-4W Bluetooth GPS Module Approved by FCC

FCC has approved the new Nokia's Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W. This is a GPS add-on for Nokia's smartphones with Bluetooth support and for the Nokia 770 phone. The company already has a GPS-enabled smartphone, the N95, but not everyone can afford it. So the add-on was an excellent solution.

Despite that all information about the device is strictly confidential, one photo leaked though.

HTC Kaiser Gets FCC Approval

FCC has approved three separate models of the upcoming 3G smartphone, the HTC Kaiser.

They all support GSM 850/1900 and HSDPA 850/1900 networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS functionality. The main difference between them is the embedded camera: Kaiser 100 is equipped with a 3Mpix digicam, the Kaiser 110 lacks the camera, and the Kaiser 120 comes with a dual-cam (VGA front, 3Mpix back), which allows for video calls.

LG LX260 Gets FCC Approval

The new LG LX260 was recently approved by FCC and will soon be available at Sprint.

Unfortunately, only a few specification details have been unveiled.

All we know for now is that LX260 has a slider form factor and a QWERTY keyboard, and features Bluetooth, built-in camera, and a microSD memory slot.
