Fido started offering two mid-range handsets - Nokia 6555 and Samsung SGH-E747.

The first one is a clamshell phone with a 1.3Mpix camera, QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth, microSD slot (1GB microSD card included), and a 1020 mAh battery, while the other is a slider equipped with a 2Mpix camera and a 880 mAh battery.

The Canadian carrier Fido started offering the new Motorola Q9H PDA.

This is its first Windows Mobile handset, and although Fido is not the first operator to offer the device in Canada, Q9H is surely a pleasant surprise for its subscribers.

The new Motorola W510 phone is now available from Fido. This quad-band GSM/EDGE clamshell has much in common with the RAZR handsets and features a music player, 1.3Mpix photo/video camera with 8x zoom, microSD slot, Bluetooth and other usual stuff.

The prices are as following:

• $75 with a 3-year service agreement;
• $125 with a 2-year contract;
• $300 without the contract.
