Nokia has recently issued firmware updates for three of its handsets - Nokia E66, E71 and the 5800 XpressMusic. All can be downloaded via Nokia Software Updater, and include the following improvements:

210.21.007 and 210.21.006 for Nokia E66 and E71, respectively, include stability and functionality improvements in the browser, camera, calendar, messaging and VoiP.

This time it's a little bit different. The latest leaked OS 4.7.0.114 update for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 apparently includes a new copy / paste method that was talked about in the Web recently. In rest, nothing is clear about this build either, so install it at your own risk.

Speaking of firmware updates, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 wasn't left aside either today. The new OS 4.6.1.174 is now available for download. As usual, we don't know what changes over the previous versions it includes. Be careful when installing such builds.

Yet another leaked BlackBerry firmware? Yup, this time it's unofficial OS 4.6.0.247 for the BlackBerry Bold. As always, install it at your own risk.

Those unofficial BlackBerry firmware updates are starting to really get on my nerves. Ok... in case you didn't know, there's a new unofficial OS 4.6.0.241 firmware update available, this time for the BlackBerry Bold. So, if you happen to own one, you may try it, but as always be careful.

HTC has recently released a minor software update for its Touch Pro smartphone. Changelog includes fixes for glitchy auto-focus and preview screen, TouchFLO 3D crashes, and the issue when "the display of TouchFLO 3D sometimes may appear cracked". Be warned though, that by installing the patch you may erase your provider's customizations, so read the installation instructions very carefully.

Vodafone's BlackBerry Storm 9500 users will be glad to know that the latest firmware build for their phone has leaked in the Web and is now available for download. Keep in mind, however, that it's not official, so no one will bear responsability if you suddenly brick your device.

The popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has received its first firmware update. The latest build v20.0.0.12 adds in camera photo geotagging, full device search, and boosts the overall performance. The update can be downloaded through OTA update service or the traditional PC Suite.

Today Sprint has released the BlackBerry OS 4.5 for both the 8130 and 8330 models. You can download it here, but don't forget to backup all the important data before installing it.
