LG’s new G Pad lineup is beginning to roll out in Europe, beginning with the LG G Pad 7.0.The mid-range tablets are being touted as somewhere between “entry-level and premium devices.”They will come in three different form factors with screen sizes of 7, 8 and 10.1 inches. The smallest of the bunch, the G Pad 7.0 is leading the rollout in Europe, followed by the larger tablets in the near future.

LG unveils a trio of G Pad tablets

LG announced three new tablets, G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1.The Korean company described each one of these:

  • G Pad 7.0 – this 7-incher is “designed to be held in one hand,” delivering “both portability and power.”
  • G Pad 8.0 – with its 8-inch screen, this tablet offers an “immersive multimedia experience and smooth multitasking.

Verizon to launch the Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12.2 and LG G Pad on March 6th

According to leaked memo obtained by AndroidAuthority, erizon Wireless is gearing towards launching new tablets, including the Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12.2 and LG G Pad 8.3. It will happen on March 6th.Both of these got FCC’s seal of approval making them ready to be sold on the U.S. soil. So this has nothing to do with the government paperwork – that part is done. Chances are the Big Red carrier is in the midst of educating its workforce, preparing them for the new product launch as we speak.

It appears that Verizon may've persuaded LG to pull together a cellular version of the G Pad for its network, if puzzle pieces from a recent FCC filing end up fitting together as we'd expect.All we know from the official docs is that an LG tablet, model number VK810, has been approved for the US market with LTE support for Bands 4 and 13 -- Verizon's magic numbers.The mystery tablet's dimensions are more or less identical to those of the G Pad 8.
