As expected, T-Mobile G1 has been put out for sale at the company's website. This Android-based phone is available in a very limited quantitiy for $179.99 on a 2-year contract.

Hurray! T-Mobile G1 is coming to the UK on October 30, and will be available on Combi or Flext plans.
The Combi plan offers 800 voice minutes, unlimited SMS and unlimited internet browsing via 3G HSPA.
FlexT delivers 1,250 minutes of talktime or up to 2500 SMS messages per month, or both. Unlimited web browsing is also present, but defined.

T-Mobile UK announced it will be bringing the Android-based G1 to the United Kingdom. The release is scheduled for October 30th, and the device will be available for free (!) on a £40 monthly contract in white and black. NICE!

According to some sources, HTC will be releasing its G1 in China sometime in Q1 2009. The production of the device will be carry out by Dopod, HTC's subsidiary in China, and the phone will be modified to support Chinese cellular networks, maybe even TD-SCDMA.

That's fine with us...

It looks like Best Buy will be getting some interesting phones in the next couple weeks. Among those will be T-Mobile’s G1 and red BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, Palm Treo Pro, and Sony Ericsson C902. The first two will be added to stock on October 26th, but will become available for purchase starting on November 16th. The Treo Pro should arrive on October 28th, while the C902 should have been announced on September 28th.

While T-Mobile’s Android-powered G1 is not yet available for purchase, you can spend some quality time reading the leaked user manual for the handset. I assure you that you're desire of owning the phone will increase even more.

In order not to darken the release of their new G1, T-Mobile has removed the data cap of 1GB imposed on the handset. The following is their statement:
