The new Garmin-Asus nuvifone M20 was recently released in Taiwan on a local carrier Chunghwa.
The phone features HSDPA, a VGA display, 3Mpix camera, and comprehensive navigation capabilities, which is nice, but seeing that the carrier will also be launching the iPhone 3GS and Hero this week, the competition will be mighty tough for M20 to get profitable.

Garmin-Asus have once again delayed their G60 Nuvifone. This time the release is expected sometime in the second half of this year.
The first announced of the G60 took place in January 2008, the phone has been delayed several times already.

The waiting will soon be over, as the FCC has approved the longed-for Garmin Nuvifone. It will support 850/1900 MHz 3G bands, so the Notrth American launch is imminent. Hopefully, we'll see it live during the first half of 2009.

Not surprisingly, Garmin announced it will delay the launch of its Nuvifone until early 2009.
According to the press release, meeting some of the carrier specific requirements will take longer than expected, but the the GPS manufacturer is said to be working on the necessary design changes to meet these requirements.
Well, in this case we expect to see a fully functional handset in the end.

GPS manufacturer Garmin has just unveiled the nuvifone, their brand new PND with 3G cell phone functionality (or vise versa). It has a large touch-screen for input and is packed with Google services, such as Local Search, Gmail and Panaramio. In addition, it offers two cool GPS-based features: “Where am I?”, which helps users orient in space, and the so called ”Dude, where’s my car?” - tells drivers where they’ve parked their vehicles.
