Having context-sensitive softkeys that can change up depending on the current application or even for notification of incoming messages, calls and so on is a really great idea.

LG Phones with Google Applications

LG Electronics and Google announced about teamwork in order to pre-install Google's services on LG mobile phones.  All over the world mobile users will have the possibility to search for information, find locations, update blogs and manage email on the move.

 

Some LG handsets, with pre-installed Google products and services will be shipped in North America, Europe and Asia in the second quarter 2007.

Google Maps are available for Windows Mobile devices

Google Maps is available to users of Windows Mobile devices. Google Maps supports starting with Windows Mobile 2003 and higher. Maps give users the possibility to interact with maps and satellite images, also to find point-to-point directions and find businesses or other points of interest. It's also a good feature for Windows Mobile 5.0 phones that are enabled with GPS, Google Maps automatically shows where the user is on the map with a flashing blue dot.

Samsung and Google make internet access through mobile phones

Samsung and Google entered into the collaboration to enable Samsung phone users to access Google through their mobile phones. The leaders of the both companies have a resolution to make internet access as easy as possible through mobile phones. This new service allows Samsung mobile phone users to do search in Google, send and receive e-mails through their gmail account and can use various other Google products.

Google and Orange deal about Internet phone

Google negotiate with Orange about a multi-billion dollar tie-up for mobile telephone users to search the web. To this fact Orange officials flew to Silicon Valley in California for preliminary talks about a deal at Google's headquarters.

Both firms are focusing on a branded Google phone, which would have Orange's logo, with a screen that might look like a video iPod.

Google and Orange are pairing up to introduce a Googlephone. Although there's no official news yet, but the Observer reports that the two companies are negotiating about producing a Google-branded cellphone that would come pre-loaded with mobile versions of Google applications like Google Earth, Gmail, etc.

Google CEO said mobile phones should be free!

There is an announcement from Google's CEO saying that mobile phones should be free and monetized by advertising.

Schmidt told Reuters: "Your mobile phone should be free. It just makes sense that subsidies should increase" as advertising rises on mobile phones. Although Schmidt noted that Google isn't currently making anything for this to happen.

However some users declare seeing the ads and screen captures have been posted online. However the Google button announced by Motorola has yet to make an appearance.
