Sony Ericsson has issued another white paper that provides more specification details on the highly-anticipated XPERIA X1.
It is now confirmed that the handset will feature 256MB of SDRAM, 512MB of NAND Flash, and will have a 1500 mAh lithium polymer battery, which provides 10 hours talk time on GSM or 6.5 hours on UMTS, and 3.1 hours if you're constantly making video calls.

Japanese NTT DoCoMo has announced 19 new handsets divided into 906i and 706i series.
- The 906i series includes 8 phones, all of which feature 3G/GSM international roaming, GPS, HSDPA, 1-seg mobile TV, full browser with Flash 8 support, DCMX mobile credit card and iD mobile credit payment tech, VGA LCD screens, voice to text translation of Chinese, English, and Japanese, and even support for direct transfer of Blu-ray video.

Sony Ericsson Z780i, a thin clamshell phone with HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and GPS has been approved by the FCC today.
Judging by the available photos the phone is bound for AT&T.

FCC has approved a new mid-range Sony Ericsson phone, the G702. According to documentation it supports GSM/EDGE 850/1900 radios, and features Bluetooth connectivity, 3.2Mpix camera, M2 memory card slot, and a touchscreen display. The user manual also mentions 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS, but these features are not listed in the FCC filings.

This single chip can support GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Mobile TV, and GPS, while at the same time reducing production costs by 50% and power consumption by 70%. Impressive, and that's not all: ASOCS MP100 is also software reconfigurable, which means that a simple software update can enable support for future technologies like LTE or WiMax.

Some of the specs of the upcoming Sony Ericsson's P5 Paris have been unveiled recently by a forum user, who took several clear shots of the phone.
He said the phone featured A-GPS, a 5Mpix camera, 2.6" display, Google Maps, and a QWERTY keypad.
Apparently he wasn't impressed with what he saw, but anyway, this info is unofficial, so don't take it too serious.

ASUS announced they'll be launching their new P560 smartphone next month.
The device was announced at CeBIT earlier this year; it runs the new Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 OS and features HSDPA, Wi-Fi, 3.2Mpix autofocus cam, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, GPS, microSDHC slot, 256MB of ROM, 128MB of RAM, and more.
The price is pretty high, though - €500 (about $772).

This is a product rendering of the future Xenium X-Connect phone by Philips.
It is a Windows Mobile 6 based smartphone with a 3" touchscreen, and such goodies like 3G UMTS/HSDPA radios, GPS receiver, AA/AAA battery backup, microSD slot, and Bluetooth 2.0 all powered by a 624MHz Intel processor.
Unfortunately, Philips Xenium cell phones are primarily found in Asia Pacific region, so we wouldn't count of seeing this one in Europe or U.

As we expected earlier, RIM has finally announced the BlackBerry 9000.
It is indeed codenamed Bold, and will soon be available from AT&T, which is said to be the exclusive carrier in the U.S.
