The new Nokia 6220 Classic has been approved yesterday by the FCC.
It is a high-end cameraphone
with a 5Mpix camera with Xenon flash and geotagging capability,
thanks to integrated GPS, as well as the ability to shoot videos at
30fps in VGA resolution.
Also it runs on the latest version of the
S60 operating system, has a TV-out port, but unfortunately lacks
Wi-Fi connectivity.

T-Mobile announced the
availability of the new BlackBerry 8820 for its HotSpot@Home service line-up.
The smartphone is Wi-Fi- and GPS-capable, and takes
advantage of Blackberry Maps, as well as TeleNav and myFaves
services.
This model lacks the camera, which could mean that 8820 is
a business device. Other features include microSD slot supporting up
to 4GB, Bluetooth, voice dialing and many more.

Looks like long-awaited Motorola Z9 will be launched after all, as it has just been approved by the FCC. The phone is still not announced, but we hope to see it at CTIA Las Vegas. FCC approval is always a good sign, right? Just to remind you, Motorola Z9 is a slider cell phone with a 2Mpix camera, GPS, 3G support, and Linux-based OS.
