In December, Huawei demonstrated the Huawei Honor running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.Originally the device was launched with Gingerbread 2.3, and an update to Android 4.0 was definitely a welcome move by those who might have purchased the device.Huawei together with China Unicom will be launching an Android 4.0 powered Huawei Honor some time during February.Sadly, there is no info if the update will eventually be rolled out on an international scale prior to the release.
According to FCC, it looks like Cricket will be the lucky carrier to sport the device, although it appears that it will instead be known as the Huawei Glory.The device features a 4” FWVGA display, a 1.4GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 8MP/2MP rear/front facing camera and will run on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.
