HTC One Max Heading to Verizon Wireless

HTC officially announced that the upcoming phablet will hit the shelves by the end of October and it seems that Verizon Wireless in the U.S. will carry the handset.The HTC Max brings a massive 5.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC with a clock speed of 1.7GHz and 2GB RAM. It comes with two storage options: 16GB and 32GB along with a microSD card slot for further storage.

Verizon Wireless will be among the U.S. carriers who get the HTC’s first phablet. the One Max,As you can see from the image above, this model will have Verizon’s logo instead of HTC’s one.Verizon’s unit will have a removable back cover and the ever-popular fingerprint sensor. Rest of the specs are rumored to include a large 6-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, Ultrapixel camera on the back, BoomSound dual front speakers, big 3,300mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage.

President of HTC America Jason Mackenzie announced that HTC will launch Android 4.3 update for Sprint’s EVO 4G LTE by the end of this year,Though we don’t have all the details yet, but we do know Sense 5 will come included as part of the deal.Unfortunately, the exact date is still a mystery but that’s kinda expected since it’s not just up to HTC to decide when will EVO 4G LTE get the update — Sprint on its end wants to be sure that the new software doesn’t mess up the user experience and may decide to test everything out before opening the floodgates.

A benchmark filing has surfaced today, re-affirming HTC One Max rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC.The image, which shows an AnTuTu benchmark score of 26417, which is tantamount to the performance of the HTC One, and comes in with a lower score than the Galaxy S4 and LG G2.The One Max is expected to be sporting a 5.9-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP camera with Ultrapixel technology, a 3,300mAh battery and 16GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 600/S4 processor clocked at 1.

Some super clear photos of HTC One Max have leaked today, giving us the clearest view of the device we’ve seen to date.The pictures show every side of the device, which looks identical to the HTC One with a few differences.
