Sprint announced the new HTC PPC-6800 Mogul smartphone is the successor for the older PPC-6700 model, and is targeted at business users. This one is probably the most powerful business communicator available for Sprint. The Mogul specs are as following:

•  CDMA EVDO network
•  Wi-Fi 802.

FCC has approved three separate models of the upcoming 3G smartphone, the HTC Kaiser.

They all support GSM 850/1900 and HSDPA 850/1900 networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS functionality. The main difference between them is the embedded camera: Kaiser 100 is equipped with a 3Mpix digicam, the Kaiser 110 lacks the camera, and the Kaiser 120 comes with a dual-cam (VGA front, 3Mpix back), which allows for video calls.

HTC Omni is a new 3G PocketPC (landscape oriented clamshell) running on WM6 Professional OS, which is rather primitive in comparison with Windows Vista, used on UMPCs. Nevertheless, the technical specifications are pretty impressive.

Sprint introduced the new HTC Mogul CDMA smartphone, the successor to the older Sprint PPC-6700. The new Mogul features the same innovative design with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, large touch screen and five-way navigation button but also has several enhancements. The dimensions are: 4.33" x 2.32" x 0.73"

The Mogul will be available for purchase online and in Sprint business sales channels this week for $399.

The upcoming HTC Touch is definitely a serious rival to the iPhone. It is based on the "Elf" platform but uses HTC's new TouchFlo technology, which delivers "unique" user experience, based on moves you do with your finger or stylus on its 2.8" QVGA touch-screen display.

The Touch is 2G phone using Wi-Fi connectivity, and provides rather slow data transfer speeds, but connecting to local wireless LANs will speed up transfers.

HTC has announced the release of the HTC Touch, the first device featuring the new underlying touch screen technology.
The HTC Touch offers a unique way of controlling touch screen-based devices by recognizing and responding to a finger sweep across the screen.
The TouchFLO technology makes finger touch scrolling and browsing of Web pages, menu, documents, messages and contact lists very easy and convenient.

From Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association’s (CTIA) WIRELESS 2007 there are some high performance products. For example, HTC Advantage 7501, is a product of High Tech Computer Corp. This computing device provides users a mobile computer experience for traveling executives.

Having HTC 7501 you don’t need notebook PCs. The device has a huge touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard and massive 8GB hard drive, quick access to your email and contacts, high-speed worldwide connectivity and ability to edit, create, print or project any Microsoft Office document, it runs on Windows Vista.

Windows Mobile is going to fill its line with the new HTC Excalibur. This device is HTC's most QWERTY  1.3 megapixel smartphone with the features like 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, and quadband EDGE.

There is no information on when this device is going to be available but with the 3G-capabile Cavalier and Rogers' coming HSDPA network it should happen soon.

On the 3GSM show of new Windows Mobile 6 wares in the form of the Vox and the Advantage, Taiwanese Windows Mobile ODM presented its "Gene" (its model number GENE100).

The specifications are like this - data with quadband EDGE, the camera is just a 2 megapixel unit, usual Bluetooth 2.0, 128MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM, and QVGA display with a 201MHz TI OMAP850.

We would share with you some info about the hot new HTC Titan. The HTC Titan is the successor of the HTC Apache (XV6700 and PPC-6700) and is also the CDMA version of the TyTN (Cingular 8525) . Verizon and Sprint PCS are going to offer the HTC Titan. The device has EV-DO Rev. A, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth v.2 and 256MB of internal memory, voice-commands key and WiFi-switch (On/Off), the internal antenna and more rounded design.
