HTC Ignite specs leaked

According to chinese blog xda.cn, HTC Ignite is running Windows Phone 7.

The device will come loaded with an 800MHz Qualcomm processor, a 3.7in resistive touchscreen, 512MB RAM and a 5MP camera with LED flash.

There are a couple of problems with these details: an 800MHz processor and a resistive touchscreen definitely do not comply with the specified WP7 requirements and the fact that HTC always prefers capacitive touchscreen for its smartphones.

HTC Thunderbolt device accessories revealed

It looks like the Thunderbolt will have goodies including a multimedia dock, wireless charging battery door, regular spare battery and an extended battery.

  • Multimedia dock—$59.99, Docks your phone in landscape mode and “triggers multimedia menu when docked.” The multimedia dock also has a slot to charge a spare standard (or extended) battery.
  • Wireless Charging Battery Cover—$39.

HTC Pyramid unveiled

The HTC Pyramid has finally shown its face to the world.

It features a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.2GHz processor, and 768MB of RAM, dual-cameras, and HSPA+ connectivity.

The device will supposedly be running Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

HTC Arrive available for pre-orders at Wirefly

HTC's first Windows Phone 7 QWERTY slider handset is now available for the pre-orders.

Wirefly is offering the HTC Arrive (7 Pro outside the US) for $49.99 with a new two-year service plan from Sprint with a new account.

Eligible upgraders will have to pay $149.99 for the privilege, though that's still less than Sprint's own $199.99 pricing.

HTC Thunderbolt comes to Verizon March 17th

Finally, Verizon confirmed the HTC Thunderbolt will arrive on March 17th.

The handset will cost for $249 with a two-year customer agreement and will require you to sign up for an unlimited LTE data plan which costs $29.99 per month.

HTC Incredible S unlocked available for $559

Though the HTC Incredible S will soon be coming to Verizon as the HTC Incredible 2, the unlocked device is yet available via Plemix.

The unlocked Incredible S will cost $559 and since it supports quad-band GSM radios, it can be used with a T-Mobile or an AT&T connection.

HTC Thunderbolt launching after iPad 2

At first we all thought that the HTC Thunderbolt would be launching in late February. Then we received word that it would be early to mid-March. Now it looks like we might have to wait a little longer.

The launch of iPad 2 on March 11 will precede the Android smartphone’s launch on Verizon.

The Android device is running Android 2.2 Froyo, and has a 1GHz processor powering it – not a dual-core, but still very capable.

Nexus S 4G & Evo 3D officially announced at CTIA by Sprint

During a-two-and-half-hours session at CTIA Sprint has announced several devices.

First one is the Nexus S 4G. This device will be similar to the current Nexus S but added with WiMAX. The device could be the SPH-D600 or SPH-D720.

Another device that Sprint ought to show is the EVO 3D - another one 3D capable device.

HTC EVO 4G coming to Japan

HTC's EVO 4G persists as one of the best phones on the American market well over half a year since its release on Sprint, and it's just now getting ready to take its 4.3-inch, Snapdragon-powered act international.

The phone is coming on Japan's big CDMA carrier, KDDI au, as the EVO WiMAX ISW11HT, and is going to be carrying over the WiMAX radio.

Documents seen on the Federal Communications Commission web site reveal that recently announced HTC Merge is most likely headed to Verizon Wireless first.

It is a new CDMA world phone that has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and Google's Android operating system.

For this moment Verizon still hasn't confirmed that it will sell the Merge.
