Sprint has leaked some information regarding the release dates and pricing of two of its upcoming phones, the HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro. The firsh should become available in mid of September for $549.99, while the other will be released on October 19th with a price tag of $579.99. Nice. :)

These are live pictures of the upcoming Android-based HTC Dream. It was recently approved by the FCC and is apparently bound for T-Mobile.

Newmobile.com has posted some live photos of the new HTC S740, a slim version of Touch Diamond smartphone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. Check out more below.

The phone will be available throughout Europe starting September 2008.

• Networks: WCDMA/HSDPA: 900/2100 MHz for EU and Asia;

HTC today unveiled the stylish S740, the successor of the S730, that combines features of the Touch Diamond and a non-touch-screen Windows Mobile Standard device. It has usual numeric keypad and a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the side.
The HTC S740 features:

• HSDPA 7.2 in the 900/2100 bands, quad-band GSM;
• 528 MHz processor;
• Windows Mobile 6.

FCC has approved the Android-based HTC Dream today. Unfortunately, they didn't show any photos of the device, only this scheme. The Dream should feature GSM/EDGE, UMTS (WCDMA) 1700MHz, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

A red HTC Touch Diamond? Could be... This actually looks like a photoshop render, but with all the previous red handsets released by Sprint it is quite possible we'll see one of these live. I sure hope so...

According to the recent rumors, the HTC Dream (supposedly featured in the yesterday's video) will become available on September 17th from T-Mobile followed by the global release shortly after.

Reported specs are as following:

• 5"x3" touchscreen;
• Slide out QWERTY;
• 3G data support;
• 3Mpixl camera

As they expect, T-Mobile subscribers will be able to get the device for as low as $150, but the general public should be ready to pay up to $400 for it.

An updated firmware build version 1.93 for the HTC Touch Diamond has been released today in the UK and other European countries. The new ROM improves on camera navigation, text alert speed, tab-switching speed and a new city selector in the weather tab.

As announced earlier this month, today Vodafone UK has released the HTC Touch Pro WM-based smartphone. It is now available for purchase from the official distributor Devicewire for some £514.99 (including VAT). Any takers? Anyone?

All doubts are gone: AT&T will soon be ofering the HTC Touch Pro.

The device is similar to the Diamond model, but boasts an additional keypad.

It supports 3G on the 850 band, features TouchFLO3D interface, but lacks the front facing VGA camera.
