HTC has officially announced the First, an Android device with a bit more Facebook influence than most other smartphones we've used in the past.There were no specs announced for the device, other than it having LTE, but anyway, the earlier leaks have indicated it will be 4.3-inch, 720p mid-range phone, not threatening the HTC One by any stretch of the imagination.The device will be available on April 12th exclusively in the US on AT&T for just $99.

The HTC One is available for pre-order today from AT&T. The pre-orders for the device on Sprint’s network are starting tomorrow.AT&T is offering the 32GB version of the device for $199, and the 64GB version for $299.Sprint will be offering the HTC One 32GB version on contract for $199.00, and the 64GB version for $299.00.

HTC’s Desire family has most recently become the home of far more modest handhelds, like HTC Desire P.The device sports a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a dual-core 1 GHz processor and just 768 MB of RAM, 4 GB of on-board storage, Beats Audio support, Wi-Fi, GPS, microSD and Bluetooth.From the other hand it’s petite, fairly elegant and measures 10.7 mm thick while weighing in at 136 g.
