Recently there have been leaked photos of unannounced 4G LTE device, the HTC Incredible HD, and now HTC launches a website that shows a device covered by a black cloak with text nex to it saying “the first to 4G, again. Find out January 6”. As Verizon has a CES keynote planned for that very date many suspect that this device will be Verizon's first 4G LTE handset.

 

Photos of Verizon's unannounced Android smartphone, the HTC Incredible HD, were leaked yesterday. Judging by the images device appears to have quite a large display, a front-facing camera with dual LED flash, and a kickstand, like the EVO 4G. As this device hasn't been officially announced, pricing and a release date are left unknown. There are rumors that according to one of the photos, the one that shows phone's status bar with a 4G logo on it, this might be the LTE handset that Verizon plans to debut at CES.

The unannounced HTC Merge Android smartphone was spotted earlier on Verizon site, and not just 1 picture but in full 360 view. There is currently no info available on this new device, except that it has a touchscreen, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard,and a LED flash near the camera.

According to leaked documents found by Engadget, Verizon Wireless plan to launch the HTC Trophy, a windows Phone 7 device, in early 2011. The document also says that the devices will be available to Microsoft employees through the end of December for $199.99, and expected to be made available to the public shortly thereafter.

The White HTC Evo 4G now available in Sprint stores for $199 with a new 2-year Sprint contract and after $100 mail-in-rebate.The EVO 4G is capable of running on Sprint's 4G WiMAX network, which is currently available in 63 markets.

According to Financial Times magazine, HTC may be working on its own application store and that it has started hiring employees just for that. HTC also eventually plans to get up to 100 employees worldwide as a supporting staff for its app store. That is according to sourced rumors. There is still no official information from HTC about this app store.

HTC has announced the upcoming Q4 U.S. release of its Wildfire smartphone. It is currently available to European customers.HTC Wildfire features:
