FCC has approved three separate models of the upcoming 3G smartphone, the HTC Kaiser. They all support GSM 850/1900 and HSDPA 850/1900 networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS functionality. The main difference between them is the embedded camera: Kaiser 100 is equipped with a 3Mpix digicam, the Kaiser 110 lacks the camera, and the Kaiser 120 comes with a dual-cam (VGA front, 3Mpix back), which allows for video calls.

The upcoming HTC Touch is definitely a serious rival to the iPhone. It is based on the "Elf" platform but uses HTC's new TouchFlo technology, which delivers "unique" user experience, based on moves you do with your finger or stylus on its 2.8" QVGA touch-screen display. The Touch is 2G phone using Wi-Fi connectivity, and provides rather slow data transfer speeds, but connecting to local wireless LANs will speed up transfers.
