Continuing our previous post, Sprint has confirmed that HTC Hero will also get an Android 2.1 update coming in early Q2. And according to a follow-up tweet, OTA vs. PC-based or in-store upgrades are "still TBD upgrade options" for both the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment.

According to the recently published PR, owners of the HTC Hero will receive an official Android 2.1 update with Sense in "mid March". The update will also feature a new Friend Stream widget that aggregates user updates across services, tweaked Exchange support, and some other goodies. We can't tell you whether it will be available globally though.

According to recent reports, the high-end HTC Bravo smartphone will soon be heading to Verizon under the name of HTC Desire.Most of its specs are on par with the Nexus One, but there are some minor differences:

CDMA HTC PB31200 Approved by the FCC

FCC has approved the nameless HTC PB31200 smartphone, which supports CDMA/CDMA2000 850/1900 MHz bands. This basically means that it may make an appearance with either Verizon or Sprint. Additionally, the device will support 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but apart from that we have no other details. But stay tuned for more.
