According to PhoneArena, AT&T is getting preapared for the release of the HTC Hero for its customers early next year. The phone will feature:
- Android OS;
- Sense UI;
- Flash support;
- 3.2" 320 x 480 screen;
- 5Mpix camera;
- Wi-Fi;
- 3.5mm audio jack

Here's another Android handset set for release on Verizon, the HTC Desire. It's got 3G support (not sure why they would need it, since Verizon is a CDMA carrier), Sense UI, a trackball, and no physical keyboard, just virtual. Overall it reminds us of HTC Hero. Our only complaint here - the photo is just too damn dark!

HTC Taiwan has released a ROM upgrade for it's Magic users that packs Android 1.5 (cupcake) and the Sense UI, which could indicate that firmware updates for users in other parts of the world are coming as well.

According to WMExperts, U.S. Cellular is preparing the launch of the HTC Touch Pro2. The carrier will be the first CDMA operator to offer the phone with Windows Mobile 6.5 pre-installed. In addition, the handset will also feature the HTC's Sense UI. Sounds like great news for U.S. Cellular customers!Pricing and launch date weren't announced yet.

UK retailer Clove has recently announced that it will soon be offering the unlocked contract-free version of the upcoming HTC HD2 smartphone. The handset is said to be available starting November 11 for £469, about $740 US. Note that this is the European version, 3G won't work in the U.S.It is also known that the HD2 will be hitting O2 later this month and Vodafone in Spain in December.
