Yes, apparently HTC is preparing a new smartphone, folks. Unfortunately, Bluetooth SIG has only leaked the device's name, "Rose", but I guess there's not much time left before some sniffers take of the cover from the misterious phone.
Will it be Android-powered, or will it run WinMo 6.1 as usual? Stay tuned coz we'll fugure it out soon enough,

Sprint customers who own either HTC Touch or Mogul can now update their handset to Windows Mobile 6.1.
The Touch will now support Sprint's high-speed EV-DO Rev A. network, and will take advantage of the popular Opera web browser, and improved GPS functionality.
The HTC Mogul receives the same Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional upgrade. It will have updated versions of Microsoft Office and Live Search, as well as support for Sprint TV service.

Xda-developers have somehow managed to enable the supposedly lacking GSM 850MHz spectrum on the HTC Touch Diamond smartphone. The modified ROM is available at their site.
However, though now you'll be able to use the phone anywhere in the U.S., you will still have enjoy the "lightning fast" speed of the EDGE data network, as 3G is not supported on this device.

HTC has released the new P3702 Victor in Taiwan. Basically, it is the same Touch Diamond only with a black flat back cover instead of Diamond-like one.
This might be a good option for those who want a customized version of the Touch Diamond. I mean, atleast you won't bother keeping the back cover clean all the time.

As expected, the CDMA version of the HTC Touch Diamond smartphone passed the FCC. So far it was announced only by Canadian Telus, but with the FCC's approval on their hands nothing prevents other CDMA carriers in the U.S. from getting it.

This is a new Chinese clone of the Sony Ericsson's XPERIA X1. It's pretty cool, I must say, and I even wonder why they didn't make it earlier.
Actually, the original X1 was not cloned completely: it was slightly modified to offer a tilting display, similar to the one on the HTC TyTN II. Other features include a 5Mpix camera, 3", 16 million color touchscreen, and a built-in TV tuner.

FCC has unveiled the new HTC NEON400. It has a Touch Dual form-factor, i.e. the original Touch with a slider keyboard, and apparently supports CDMA 850 / 1900 bands. This means it could very well be launched on Sprint, Verizon, and Alltel networks - we'll just have to wait before it is officially announced by someone other than FCC.
