Ever wondered how a white HTC Touch Diamond would look? Well here it is, and it looks amazing, even though it's the same old Diamond under the hood. Expect it to become available in October.

These are the official specs of the recently unveiled HTC Touch HD, taken from a page at HTC's website. The device will be announced tomorrow, but we still have no info on the release date and pricing, and we still want to see this thing running Android instead of WM 6.1.HTC Touch HD specifications:

• 3.8" 800 x 480 touchscreen;
• 5Mpix camera + front-facing VGA camera for video calls;

The newly announced HTC Touch Viva (former Opal) and HTC Touch 3G look almost alike, but belong to different categories. The first is a low-end-to-mid-range handset, while the other is a high-end smartphone with support for several high-speed data networks. HTC Touch Viva features:

• Stripped-down TouchFLO 3D interface;
• 256MB ROM;
• Integrated GPS;
• 2Mpix camera;
• Wi-Fi connectivity

HTC Touch 3G features include:

• GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz & WCDMA / HSPA: 900/2100MHz.

The first live pic of the recently unveiled HTC Opal (aka Viva) has been leaked in the Web. Well, it looks nice, similar to the HTC Touch, but this sparklly finish leaves a two-fold impression. Wonder how business users will accept such a decorative design.

HTC smartphones are already available in Japan through NTT DoCoMo and Softbank. And now KDDI, which is the second largest carrier in the country is about join them. The first HTC handset offered by the company will be the E30HT - a renamed HTC Touch Pro scheduled for release sometime in spring 2008.

Today at CTIA in San Francisco Sprint has officially announced the HTC Touch Diamond coming to its network on September 14th, and the Touch Pro on October 19th. The Diamond first will be available for $249 on a 2-year contract after a $100 rebate, and the Touch Pro will cost you $299 on the same terms. Very nice of Sprint to get these two. :)

This here appears to be the HTC Touch HD. Most people would first of all notice its cool large WVGA display. The design of the device slightly reminds of the BlackBerry Storm, but these things are very different.Some of the rumored specs include:

• Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional;
• Qualcomm 7201A processor running at 528MHz;
• WVGA display;
• 512MB ROM / 256MB RAM;
• 115mm x 62.

HTC is preparing a new communicator called Opal. It appears to be the successor to the HTC Touch, and has a similar design. Specifications are pretty mediocre; the handset doesn't support 3G, but features TouchFLO 3D interface, found on the HTC Touch Diamond and Pro. A more detailed speclist is posted below.HTC Opal Specifications:

• Networks GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz;
• Windows Mobile 6.

Best Buy has launched a pre-order page on its website offering the unlocked HTC Touch Diamond for a low price of $699.99. It's a great deal for such a handset! The North American 3G wasn't in the speclist, hopefully they will revise it before the launch, as using only Wi-Fi won't do...

Update: Yes, it will sport U.S. 3G, now it's confirmed.

The HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) has been approved for AT&T under the name of Fuze. It will support HSUPA 850/1900 data network, and will have a customized TouchFLO 3D interface. That's all we know judging by the available info.
