Telus Launches HTC Snap and Touch Pro2

TELUS customers can now get their hands on a couple of cool WinMo smartphones: the HTC Snap and Touch Pro2. Both devices offer an abundance of features including shared specs such as email support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, speakerphone, visual voicemail, global GSM roaming and over five hours of talk-time for each of them.

Prices are $0 and $249.

How do you like it? The actual ROM of the unannounced HTC Mega has been leaked at XDA site. What’s so special about it? Well, this ROM contains the HTC’s latest TouchFLO 2D 2.0 UI. It  looks very similar to the TouchFLO 3D, just lacks all that “3D” stuff. So if you own an HTC WM 6.1/6.5 touchscreen device, and know how to flash it with custom ROMs, head on over to XDA to download the software.

According to wmexperts, the upcoming HTC Leo it will probably be a MID (mobile internet device), similar to the HTC Advantage (known also as the Athena) and not a high-end clamshell smartphone as stated previously. Furthermore, it looks like the Leo is actually the same handset seen on the HTC´s 2009 launch list, namely the Thorn (Athena 2).
