Samsung and Sprint have officially launched the Instinct HD. The handset is based on the features of its predecessors, and offers:
- 5Mpix camera with 720p (1280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps) video capture capabitity;
- HD TV-out (720p via HDMI);
- High-speed video at 80 fps at 480p resolution;
- Opera Mobile 9.7 web browser;
- Wi-Fi;
- Including accelerometer, light sensor and proximity sensor;
- Sprint's EVDO Rev.

An alleged internal Sprint memo has confirmed that the upcoming Samsung Instinct HD will be available to Sprint customers starting September 27th. To clarify, it will be launched on 26th, and released the next day. It is expected to go for between $99 and $149 on contract. The Samsung Instinct HD (Sprint-bound S50 / m850 Dash) has appeared at Best Buy site. According to this listing, the phone will support HD video recording and playback, and will have a 5Mpix camera, TV out connection, visual voicemail and Wi-Fi support.
The price is still not listed, but the offer is set to be actual till September 26th.

A picture of the upcoming Samsung InstinctQ has surfaced recently, and confirmed our expectations: it's an Android-powered landscape QWERTY slider for Sprint. We definitely like the touch-sensitive Home, Menu and Back buttons, and the keyboard looks pretty solid. The screen doesn't look bright and clear, but maybe it's just the photo. Final judgements will be made upon a hands-on review.

PhoneArena has managed to get some new info regarding the Instinct HD. The handset will be dubbed the S50, like it was called initially, and is expected to be hit the shelves sometime around mid-September, which is about half a month away.
Additionally, we also found out that the Android-powered Samsung Instinct Q could appear in stores sometime in November, but that's pure speculation.

According to documents seen on the FCC site, there's a new version of the Samsung Instinct headed for Sprint, model number SPH-M850. The handset features EVDO, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a "full touch" display and HDTV out, as well as a "5M AF camera", according to the Bluetooth SIG, which has also approved the device. Neither Sprint nor Samsung has announced this device.

According to EngadgetMobile, Best Buy will soon be adding the Samsung Instinct S30 to its stock. In about two weeks tme they'll be offering the device for just $49.99 on contract, which is $80 less than what Sprint itself will supposedly ask for it on April 19th.
