Still sticking to the default keyboard on your iPhone or iPad? Nuance is hoping you'll give Swype a try, that's why the company has updated its virtual keyboard with support for 16 new languages.These include Hungarian, Romanian, Russian and even Hinglish (that's a hybrid of Hindi and English), bringing the total number of supported languages to 21. Plus, Swype now automatically suggests emojis to use, depending on the words in your message.

Apple is seemingly moving away from its minor update cycles, with plans to launch big updates next year. These would include iOS 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, one of which may be unveiled by the end of this year.According to 9to5Mac, all three iOS versions have been caught at various website logs around the web. What’s more, these users are all located around Cupertino, indicating there’s some merit in these rumors.

You not only have to put your device to sleep and turn off location services, you have to turn off cellular data as well -- in short, your iPhone has to become a paperweight.

Apple just released the first update to iOS 8, and it looks to be taking down iPhones. The iOS 8.0.1 update is rendering TouchID useless, and crippling cellular reception on iPhone 6 models.That being said, you may want to hold off on installing the update until Apple fixes the bugs which are being reported. If you haven’t installed iOS 8 on your old iPhone, you may want to wait on that move as well.

Huge camera changes likely coming in iOS 8

Ever since the launch of the first iPhone in 2007, Apple has always had the simplest of camera interfaces possible - an all-automatic camera with no manual controls.Later versions of iOS introduced the HDR photo feature, then a high-res panorama, and a few other modes with time, but up until the latest version of iOS, you have no manual settings like ISO, white balance, etc.Apple has dropped a few hints about its plans at WWDC, and it seems like the company will give users access to just about every single manual camera setting you can think of in the stock app: ISO, shutter speed, focus, white balance and exposure.
