As reported by guardian.co.uk, O2 UK's exclusivity for the iPhone 3G(S) runs out on November 9th, and right the next day the handset will become available to Orange UK customers... at a higher price. In addition, you'll also be able to purchase it through independent retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U, on behalf of Orange, of course.
Vodafone will be getting the iPhone 3GS in the Q1 2010.

Just in case you haven't noticed, there's a new OS Update 3.1.2 available for iPhone (3G(S)) owners. The free update can be downloaded from iTunes, and resolves issues that caused iPhone to not wake from sleep, interrupting cellular network services until restart, and crashes during video streaming.
A corresponding update is also available for the iPod touch.
Some new screenshots of the Facebook 3.0 for iPhone have surfaced recently, revealing some of the new features added in the latest version. First of all, it's the ability to upload photos/videos from your iPhone on the fly. Also users will be able to manage their accounts directly on the handset, so now there's no need for a PC. Nice!
All that's left is to wait for the app's official launch, when we'll get its exact list of changes/improvements.
