According to some sources, AT&T and Apple intend to launch a 8GB iPhone 3GS at the $99 price point before Christmas. Apparently this is due to the current DROID madness, which should be chilled a bit.

These are the available offers at Orange UK:

• iPhone 8GB iPhone 3G for free on 24 month contract with a minimum of £29.36 ($48) per month
• iPhone 32GB 3GS for free on £122.34 ($200) monthly plan with unlimited everything
• iPhone 8GB 3G will cost you £343 ($561) w/o contract
• iPhone 32GB 3GS will cost you £539 ($881) w/o contract

It's a known fact that both the Android 2.0 and Motorola DROID support multitouch. Then why didn't they enable it?!

As reported by guardian.co.uk, O2 UK's exclusivity for the iPhone 3G(S) runs out on November 9th, and right the next day the handset will become available to Orange UK customers... at a higher price. In addition, you'll also be able to purchase it through independent retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U, on behalf of Orange, of course.
