"I Am Rich" Application Walkthrough

Most of the iPhone owners remember the recently appeared “I Am Rich” application, which was pulled off the App Store today. For just $999.99 it displayed a shining ruby on the dark background and a short mantra to read about how perfect your life is.
Well, some person made a short video "walkthrough" for it, probably being in the state of have-nothing-better-to-do.

The iPhone Dev Team has released their Pwnage Tool 2.0.2 for the new iPhone firmware version 2.0.1. As expected it only jailbreaks the device.

Developers however advice not to update to the latest firmware build if you plan to unlock your handset with the future Pwnage Tool.

iPhone Firmware 2.0.1 has issues

As expected, the new iPhone firmware 2.0.1 that became available today through iTunes disables the PwnageTool 2.0, which means you won't be able to use all of your jailbroken apps. In addition, there are reports saying that even carrier-unlocked handsets have issues with the new firmware. Apple has updated the iPhone 3G baseband, which means that by moving to the new version you risk to make your handset un-unlockable in the future.

According to some rumors, Apple plans to release a mini version of the iPhone called iPhone nano. The source says should be available by Christmas at a price of $300 sans contract.

As there are still 5 months to go before Christmas, I wouldn't get too excited in your place. And by the way, no one knows whether it will be a shrinked 3G iPhone...
Rather we should wait.

Apple launched a beta of iphone (3G) firmware 2.1 for developers that will probably offer new GPS features, like turn-by-turn directions, and the copy/paste functionality that every iPhone user has been begging for.

iPhone 3G is obviously doing really well.

Apple reports they have sold one million handsets just this weekend. Last time it took them a whole 74 days to reach 1M with the iPhone classic. However, that was possible due to the fact that the new iPhone was released simultaneously in 21 countries, and counting...

Next stop - France on July 17th.
