Looks like Apple
iPhone will finally add handwriting recognition to its feature set.
A
Chinese developer created a new application for the handset that
recognizes both Chinese and Latin characters.
The program is still a
beta, and doesn't support the landscape mode, as well as writing
e-mails by hand. However, expect these problems to be fixed soon.

Believe it or not, it looks like British carrier O2 decided to cut a whole £100 from the 8GB iPhone bringing the price down to £169 not depending on the wireless plan you choose.
Sadly, the price cut only applies to the 8GB version; the 16GB model will still cost you £329.
Anyway, the deal will expire in June, so hurry up!

Griffin has released its new iPhone case with an antenna booster called ClearBoost.
The case includes the antenna, a bumper and a screen protector. It may not look good, but in some situations it can improve reception.
Taking into account that the booster is of no use in areas with very low coverage, we wouldn't suggest you buy it, unless the look of your handset means nothing to you.

It's a great pleasure to surf the Web on the iPhone. Its advanced Safari browser and multi-touch interface deliver an unforgettable experience.
So, it's no wonder that the iPhone's Safari is the No. 1 mobile browser in the U.S. holding 0.18% of the market share. If we add here Apple's iPod Touch, we get 0.23%. And to think it has been less than a year since the handset's U.
