AT&T has officially announced that the iPhone will have several applications from Google, besides those apps we already know to be included in the device. These extras may include Google Maps, Google News, Google Reader (RSS), mobile Blogger, and Google Calendar, but this info is not yet been confirmed.

The Apple iPhone has finally been approved by the FCC for the US. Unfortunately, with all the FCC test result data, there are no photos of the iPhone available due to Apple's prohibition on publishing them.

Cisco filed a suit against Apple over trademark infringement concerning its use of the iPhone name. Mark Chandler, Cisco senior vice president and general counsel announced: "Cisco entered into negotiations with Apple in good faith after Apple repeatedly asked permission to use Cisco's iPhone name.
