It looks like Apple intends to bring the iPhone to Japan.

Currently the company's officials are negotiating with NTT DoCoMo, the largest Japanese carrier, trying to convince them to accept the revenue sharing deal. Steve Jobs is also in talks with Softbank in case NTT DoCoMo denies the offer.

TomTom to Add GPS to the iPhone?

Here's a fresh rumor for you.

Apparently, TomTom has developed an add-on GPS receiver for the Apple iPhone. The thing you see on the picture here is obviously the GPS module we're talking about, as on the phone's screen we clearly see GPS navigation prompts.

As you've probably heard, the upcoming iPhone SDK that should appear in February, is already available to some developers, not excluding TomTom, so, it is very possible that the manufacturer came up with this accessory as an alternative to the official GPS-enabled iPhone, which is still not ready.

Apple iPhone will soon be able to run Playstation games thanks to the new PSX4iPhone application.

This is a SPS emulator which works on both iPod Touch and the iPhone and features two virtual D-pads as game controllers.

The application is being tested right now and will be available soon via Installer.

Apple iPhone is apparently the bestseller not only in the US, but even in Europe, where it officially appeared just last month, and was accepted with less enthusiasm because of the lack of some important features.

The handset has managed to overpass in sales such giants like HTC Touch, LG Prada, and even Nokia N95, which only means that despite of all of its downsides the device still remains very popular among consumers.

According to France Telecom, their Orange division in France has managed to sell around 30,000 iPhones since the last week’s launch.

Of course, this number looks pale in comparison with 270,000 handsets sold in the first two days of the US release, but it's a good start.

German Court has Delayed Ruling on iPhone Dispute between Vodafone and T-Mobile

The Hamburg District Court announced on Monday that it would delay by one a ruling on dispute between T-Mobile and Vodafone over the right to sell the Apple iPhone in Germany.

Now the ruling is expected to be announced this afternoon. Just to remind you, the case started on November 12 when after the Vodafone's appeal T-Mobile was forbidden to sell the handset exclusively.

According to AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson, the 3G Apple iPhone will be available sometime next year.

Apart from that we have no more information concerning what type of 3G network the device will use, how much it will cost, and when exactly it will be released.

Apple in its turn did not announce any new versions of the iPhone.
