Apple sure knows how to advertise. Just to let you know, from now on their iPhone will be known as the official "American Idol" handset.

You see, this year's show is mainly sponsored by Apple, so there you have it.

In addition, all songs from the contest will be available through iTunes.

As you probably know, T-Mobile Germany has recently started offering unlocked (contract free) iPhones for 999 Euros.

Well, they are not really unlocked; you purchase a regular locked handset, and then send the phone's IMEI to Apple for unlocking. Within 24 hours they send you an e-mail saying "thank you”, and after that you just connect your iPhone to iTunes and voila.

Apple iPhone will soon get the iTunes WiFi Music Store service.

The new feature will probably be included in the upcoming software update, but no specific date was announced yet. It's a pity the service will use Wi-Fi connectivity instead of EDGE.
