Japanese carrier KDDI has unvelied its winter lineup, featuring 13 impressive phone models for their customers' choice. Here's the breakdown:
- Casio Exilim Keitei CA003: 12 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, autofocus, image stablizer, and 20 images/second rapid shot;
- Sharp Aquos Shot SH003: WVGA screen, 12 megapixel camera, FM transmitter, transfer and view Blu-Ray movies;
- Sharp Aquos Shot SH006: WVGA screen, 12 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, transfer and view Blu-Ray movies;
- Casio Exilim Keitei CA004: WVGA screen, 8 megapixel camera with face detection, autofocus, and VGA video recording;
- Sharp SH004: 8 megapixel camera with noise reduction and low-light filter; low-power mode and call noise-cancellation;
- Sony Ericsson Bravia U1: 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and image stabilization; transfer and view Blu-Ray movies; waterproof;

KDDi Japan has introduced its new AU G9, a gorgeous and and stylish 18.1mm thick CDMA/GSM phone made by Sony Ericsson. It's features include a nice 3” WVGA LCD, a 3.1Mpix AF camera, Bluetooth, GPS, 700MB of internal memory, and 1-Seg TV tuner.

Kyocera announced it's latest flip phone for KDDi today, called NS01. It looks really nice, yet simple and low-end. Actually, it really isn't a monster handset with its 2.8" QVGA display, 2Mpix camera, and a set of basic features. Still, the all white design is just too adorable to ignore...
Pricing details weren't announced, though, but that'snot a biggie since the phone will only be available in Japan.

Sony Ericsson has released the new CyberShot S001 today, an 8Mpix cameraphone for the Japanese market. Its embedded 8Mpix camera boasts a LED flash, Smile Shutter, Face Recognition technology, Image Stabilization and ISO settings up to 1600.
Aside from that, the device also features GPS, 1Seg TV tuner, a 3.3" OLED display and Bluetooth connectivity.
It will be released on KDDI in Japan this March in black, gold, green, or pink color options.

Sharp has released a yet another 8Mpix phone, the SH001, currently available only in Japan. According to Akihabara, its features include an 8.1Mpix camera with both AF and face recognition, and an ISO range up to 2500, an ASV WVGA screen, E-Wallet, noise cancellation and clear voice functions, as well as support for LISMO and their VOD AOD services. The device measures in 48x11x16.

Japanese KDDI has unveiled two new rugged cell phones from Sharp, the E05SH and E06S, both targeted at business users. They offer some advanced security features, including:
- SDIO port;
- Fingerprint scanner;
- Remote locking / unlocking;
- Ability to set restrictions on the use of IR port, Bluetooth and memory card;
- Bar code scanner (E06SH)
Other specifications E05SH and E06SH look like this:
- Full compliance with IPX5/IPX7 standards on impact, dust and moisture protection;
- Weight: 136 g (E05SH) / 160 g (E06SH);

HTC smartphones are already available in Japan through NTT DoCoMo and Softbank. And now KDDI, which is the second largest carrier in the country is about join them. Judging by the name tgis is a sports phone, equipped with an accelerometer and built-in GPS, that will provide useful information during your workout. Besides that you can expect a 2.2" 240 x 320 display, built-in 1-seg TV tuner, 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth and even the ability to "compose music".
