A member of the Sprint Users’ forum has posted a picture of what it appears to be the successor to the LG Rumor. Apart from the added QWERTY keyboard, the handset didn't change much outwardly. Unfortunately, from this picture we can't extract any additional details, except that the phone is headed for Sprint... again.

Reportedly, the popular LG Viewty will get a successor at this year's CeBIT show. The upcoming LG GC900 Viewty II will probably take the center stage at the expo with all the fine feartures it has to offer. Unfortunately, no pics, prices, or dates were attached to the speclist. As expected, LG's Versa handset has been released today in Verizon Wireless stores nationwide. Pricing is set at $199 on a 2-year, $269 on 1-year (both after online $50 rebate), and a whopping $449 if you choose to avoid any commitments.

The LG's recently announced QWERTY slider, the TE365 Neon (known as GT365 Etna in the US), will soon be arriving at Rogers, according to reports. Just to let you know: Verizon subscribers can now purchase the new LG Versa for $200 after a mail-in rebate, along with the customary new contract. It's a good choice if you're looking for a decent mid-range handset. Here's what it offers:

LG is apparently planning to release over a 100 new phones in 2009, but we certainly doubt that. However, we won't mind taking a look at some new models anyway. Following are a few newly announced mid-range and low-end LG handsets, which will be released in the near future. Check them out:

Rogers Wireless has launched the new LG TU330 Globus flip, a solid cell phone that was first spotted earlier this month. It is available now for just $29.99 on a 3-year contract, but we strongly suggest that you take the unlocked version for $179.99.

The LG's new G910 watchphone, which will soon be released exclusively on Orange in Europe, is not some cheap trinket. It looks cool, features HSDPA support and a touchscreen, and will cost you £1,000 / €1,144 outright. However, if you think that's unaffordable and choose the contract option, the price will drop to a more reasonable £500 with mothly £40 installments for the next two years.

AT&T will be offering two new handsets sometime in the near future, the Samsung Shift and LG Etna, for all you messaging junkies. The Shift is a 2G candybar phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Etna is a rather low-end device with EDGE, VGA camera and other basic features. Does any of these make up a good purchase?
