This one has been recently launched in some markets. The LG GB270 doesn't look like an LG phone, more like a Sony Ericsson knock-off. Furthermore, the two models you see on the picture are actually one and the same handset. The GB270, a member of LG's Dynamite series, has interchangeable covers that change both the color of the phone and its physical traits, including keypad and d-pad styles, the shape of the bezel, and even add an external lanyard in the upper corner.

Two new Windows-mobile business handsets were spotted in the recently leaked AT&T's upcoming lineup, namely the HP Obsidian and LG Monaco. Both will be released in November, which will apparently turn out as hot in terms of handset releases as the October.

How did we miss this one. We're late, but anyway, according to the latest PR regarding the LG Chocolate Touch, the phone "will be released across the
Europe in September and will be expanded to the rest of the world from
October 2009". Ultimately it will end up launching in 50 countries around the world.

LG has officially announced its first Android based handset today, the GW620. It is a sideways slider with a 3" touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard, a microUSB slot and a 3.5mm headset jack. However, that's about all we can tell about it for now.
Expect the GW620 to be available in the Q4 in selected European markets.

Vodafone has recently launched the LG GM750, a new Windows phone based on Windows Mobile 6.5. It will be available starting October 6th, initially in seven countries: Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the UK and also in France through SFR, with further countries following soon after.

BlackberryOS.com managed to get their hands on some internal Verizon documents, according to which there are three new handsets scheduled for release next month on the Big Red. First it's the BlackBerry Storm 2 launching October 14th, then the Motorola's Android-based Sholes, as well as the LG VX8575 "Chocolate Touch" (a variant of the BL40 Chocolate Touch) launching "mid-October".

Virgin Mobile announced that it will soon be offering the low-end LG Rumor 2 messaging phone. The device comes with a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth and 1.3Mpix camera. It is also available from Sprint, which is the future owner of Virgin Mobile.

Telus is rumored to launch the LG Versa in Canada in the near future. The model number is expected to be CX9600, as Telus uses the CX prefix for all LG devices. Expect it to be available at a price ranging between $150 - $200. The LG VX9600 is currently selling on Verizon for $179.99 on contract.
