LG is about to release its Viewty phone in the Middle East and Africa.

The long-awaited handset will be available next week in selected markets, but this of course won't stop LG fans who are always ready to travel a bit in order to get their hands on this baby.

Just to remind you of LG Viewty's main characteristics, it is a stylish all-touch-screen cell phone with a 5Mpix camera, which also can be used to watch videos, including those from YouTube.

AT&T started offering the LG Shine this weekend.

Just to quickly rundown its main features, the handset supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band 850/1900 WCDMA networks, has a 2.2" display, 2Mpix camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.0 supporting stereo Bluetooth, and comes with a number of AT&T's 3G services, like video sharing and music store downloads.

LG Venus and Voyager have finally been released!

The Venus is a stylish slider with a large touch-sensitive QVGA display available for $199 after a $50 rebate on a 2-year contract with Verizon.

The Voyager is a more interesting piece, quite similar to the LG enV phone, only much more powerful.

LG Voyager and Venus are now available for pre-order at the Verizon website. The current pricing is the following:

• Black LG Venus: $199 with a 2-year contract and $369 at full retail
• LG Voyager: $299 with a 2-year contract and a $50 instant rebate; $469 at full retail

However, it is not clear yet when online orders for the Voyager will be shipped.

Canadian Telus started offering the new LG Shine Gold to its subscribers.

This version doesn't differ from the original Shine; specs and price are the same as they were. The only difference here is the luxurious gold finish.

LG's long-awaited 3G touch screen smartphone LG-KS20 has finally been released in Europe.

The handset comes with a variety of high-end features, including a touch-sensitive display, rich multimedia experience and Web browsing via the HSDPA network providing lightning fast data speeds of up to 3.

We now have some details on the new LG Venus we mentioned in the beginning of October.

It will come in black and pink colors and will feature two TFT displays (2" and 1.49"), integrated music player (MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+), 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth, 3G EVDO, and microSD slot (up to 8GB).

The phone will be available from Verizon Wireless on November 19 for $200 after a $50 rebate and 2-year contract.

The contents of the data sheet on the upcoming LG Voyager were unveiled today giving us more detailed information about the handset's specifications. The phone will be a little wider and thinner then its predecessor, the enV.

LG Voyager features include:

• 3G EVDO data connection;
• Internal 2.

The good old LG Shine got a makeover.

Now it comes in a clamshell form factor with a wood-covered body and is called LG LB-2500H, or LG Shine Wood.

Specs include 2Mpx camera, e-dictionary, DMB, multimedia player, etc. But don't expect it to be available anywhere else outside Korea.

LG has prepared three new cell phones for the European market, including the KE590, KG291 and KU830. The first two have much in common.

• The KE590 comes with a 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB connectivity, MP3 audio playback, 56MB of on-board memory, and a microSD memory card slot.
