LG is about to release the new Pink canU701d T-DMB mobile phone in Korea. This is the sixth model in the LG's CAN U series, a stylish swivel handset featuring T-DMB, a large 2.6" screen and providing up to 5 hours of music playback. LG canU701d will be available in Korea very soon for around 500,000(KRW).

LG in association with Marvell announced the Korean launch of the new 4G smartphone. It is a Windows Mobile based device, which runs on the Monahans (PA320) processor, supports the 4G WiBro network providing ultra-fast data transfer speeds and uses DMB technology for digital mobile TV. No word on pricing and availability yet.

The LG SV300, also known as the "Wine Phone", is now available in an updated SV300S version, targeted at ladies. The new model, designed by Rob Ryan, comes covered with Swarovski Crystals! Apart from that, all the technical specifications remained the same. The device still features a 3Mpix camera, media player, e-dictionary, Muvee Studio and other useful stuff.

Two new LG VX8800 and VX10000 handsets appeared recently on the FCC Approval site. We know almost nothing about them, except that the first one is probably the upgraded VX8550 slider, and the latter is similar to enV, but is thinner, wider and comes with a touch-screen. Stay tuned for more details.

A Gold version of the famous LG KE850 Prada became available recently. The phone comes in a 24-karat gold finish and is equipped with a touch-screen using the capacitive technology, which eliminates the necessity of a stylus. Other features remain the same. To name a few, the Prada phone sports a 3" touch-screen, a 2Mpix camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, and a microSD memory card slot.
