Here's a little video demonstration of the LG KF600 cell phone that was released a while ago.

It comes with a touch-based InteractPad, which is used for navigation and features context-specific virtual keys capable of changing their function.

LG announced they are planning to release a new next-gen PDA phone in the near future, most likely in the end of the year or in early 2009 at the latest.

The device will feature an updated OS, either Windows Mobile 6.1 or Windows Mobile 7.

Nothing else is known at the moment. Let's wait and see...

Virgin Mobile USA has recently launched a new low-end handset called LG Flare.

The phone costs just $30 and is considered perfect for the first-time users. Of course, with such a price one can not expect much from a handset. LG Flare is very basic and features Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, voice dialing, Web browser, dual screens, Spanish-language UI, and a battery good for up to 3.

FCC has just approved a new good looking PRADA-like LG phone model called VX9700. It should be available in the end of the month through Verizon Wireless, but the release could be delayed.

Anyway, here are some of its specs:

Just to inform you, the popular LG Viewty is now available in three colors: Black, Silver, and the newly added Pink.

Besides that, no specs have been changed. Expect the pink Viewty to appear in Europe in a couple of weeks.

Sprint has named the LG Rumor its official cell phone for St. Patrick’s Day, and added a new color to the handset.

Thus, currently available color options include white with silver, black with blue, and green - the new one. Besides that nothing else has changed. The phone still features a 1.3Mpix camera, microSD card slot (up to 4GB), Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated GPS.

LG has announced that their latest addition to the Black Label series, LG-AX830 "Glimmer", will be available through Alltel. Here are some of the phone's known specs:

Samsung and LG compete for a bigger share in the Korean touch-screen phone market. Both giants have recently launched two new handsets, SCH-W420 and KF-700 full touch-screen models.

The first one SCH-W420 comes with a 3.2" touch-sensitive display, supports DMB-TV and has a 2Mpix camera, while the other has a 3" touchscreen with an enhanced user-friendly UI and haptic feedback.
