Boost Mobile has announced it will now offer the LG Marquee smartphone as a variant of the LG's Optimus Black.The device is running under Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and features a large 4-inch, WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution NOVA touchscreen display.The device is super thin at just 0.36-inches thick but still packs quite a punch in its feature set: a single-core 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash on the back, and a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video chats.

Recently the successor of the LG Optimus One has appeared on the LG’s website.The device would be powered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, and comes packed with a 3.2-inch 320×480 display, 800MHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera, 179MB internal memory, microSD card slot, and a 1,500mAh battery.

According to leaked information, the LG Spectrum will feature a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 4.5” 1280×720 IPS LCD display, an 8MP rear-facing camera capable of 1080p Full HD video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 1,830mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity.Not 100% similar to AT&T’s LG Nitro HD, but pretty close nonetheless.

A press shot of the LG Prada 3.0 device has leaked prior to the official unveiling.The front portion screams LG while the back may be familiar to those who own Prada bags or wallets.The LG Prada 3.0 supposedly will feature a 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, a HD display that will feature a custom monotoned Android UI while running on Android’s Gingebread 2.3.7. It will feature 8GB of internal storage and an 8MP camera and supposedly will come with NFC enabled.

It looks like Android 2.3 Gingerbread is once again rolling-out to those sporting a T-Mobile G2x smartphone.The update is bringing Gingerbread along with goodies to include;

•     Improved battery life
•     Improved front-facing camera operation when using Qik record and share

AT&T has officially released the LG Nitro HD smartphone.The handset is priced at $249.99 on a two-year agreement and brings following features: Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, a 4.5 inch (1280 x 720) True HD AH-IPS touchscreen display, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor along with 4GB of internal storage, a 16GB microSD card, 1830 mAh battery, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording.

LG Nitro HD is AT&T’s version of the South Korea’s LG Optimus LTE.The device is finally available on AT&T’s network for a price of $250 with a two year contract.The device features a 1280×720 720p IPS display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a dual-lens 8MP camera with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board.

The South Korea-based manufacturer today confirmed that all of its high-end smartphones which were introduced this year will get the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.This is pretty cool, LG is clearly looking to win some approval from its current customer base.The company has to shed its reputation as a manufacturer who makes decent handsets that aren’t supported when it comes to the latest firmware updates.

LG and Prada have come together again for another phone collaboration.The new phone will be called the PRADA phone by LG 3.0 and unfortunately it seems that both LG and Prada have decided to tease us about the device by revealing no information regarding its hardware.This new luxury phone is expected to launch some time in early 2012 according to the official press release.
