This is the new Samsung SGH-i900 (Anycall i908).

Does it remind you of something? Judging by its specs this handset is rather a media centre then a phone. It has everything one might need. I'm almost in love. :)

Motorola Z8 Media Phone Launched

Motorola Z8 Media Phone Launched Motorola has released the new Z8 media phone, that features video capture and playback at 30 FPS and up to 32 GB of expandable memory. The Motorola Z8 combines mobile TV (BSkyB service), video and music all on one device.Some of the Z8 features:
  • Large QVGA 16 million color TFT display (30 FPS)
  • 3.6 Mbps HSDPA
  • Ergonomic slider design
  • Dedicated music keys
  • Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology
  • Stereo Bluetooth headphones
  • 80 MB of internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD cards + 512 MB bonus card
  • 8x zoom camera (still/video) and lumi LED light
The Motorola Z8 will be available for purchase in Europe and Asia beginning in June.

Symbian with Sling Media provide TV-watching whenever

Costumers can wait for a powerful mobile TV experience to Symbian smartphones from Sling Media and Symbian Limited. The software they are elaborating will give users the possibility to watch their home TV from their Symbian powered smartphones. SlingPlayer Mobile provides customers with a complete home TV experience on mobile phones using standard network connections, including 3G cellular and WiFi.

RIM betting on media features to boost sales

Research In Motion is betting that the addition of more multimedia features to its BlackBerry handheld line will help the company continue its strong growth. While the email functionality of BlackBerry is market leading, the devices have a more limited approach to multimedia than other smartphones.

"We'll be definitely supporting more forms of media, it's a big part of our direction," Jim Balsillie told Reuters, adding that delivering features such as photography, music and video with the BlackBerry "opens up some bigger markets".
