New details on the forthcoming MeeGo update for Nokia N9 have appeared this morning.The leaked shots point to many upcoming functions with which Android and iOS users are already familiar, including copy-paste browser support and a notably iOS-like folder layout.Equally unclear is the release date for PR1.2, though the screenshots cite a build date of January 30th.

Nokia N950 is a developer version of the newly-announced N9 with some differences, like a 4-inch TFT LCD instead of 3.9 AMOLED and QWERTY keyboard.

Nokia N950 also features:

• MeeGo-based device;
• 854 x 480 screen resolution;
• 8 megapixel physical camera;
• Bluetooth 2.1+EDR;
• 1320mAh battery.

Other options are basicly the same as N9.

Nokia N9 is MeeGo smartphone we've been awaiting for a long time.

Last month it hit the FCC, but we had no photos to show you. And today Engadget published a plenty of N9 photos.

Just to remind you, the N9 measures 116 x 61 x 12mm and weighs 135 grams. The device features:

• 3.9-inch AMOLED screen (854 x 480);
• 16GB or 64GB of onboard memory; 1GB of RAM;
• OMAP3630 1 Ghz processor;
• PowerVR SGX530 Graphics;
• 4-band GSM, 5-band WCDMA radios;
• Bluetooth 2.

A new device from Nokia seems to be supporting six cellular frequencies as well as Bluetooth and 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

It is enough to appear on most any GSM carrier, to say nothing of AT&T and T-Mobile.

The device comes MeeGo packed, featuring QWERTY-sliding keyboard.
