How much longer this thing will be hiding? We’ve seen so many UI screenshots of the mythical Meizu M8 that we'd begun to doubd the posibility of its actual release. Some say the release date is scheduled for December, but take this with a large dose of salt.

It looks like Meizu will be releasing its M8 this year after all.

Taiwan-based retailer Geek IT Stores announced that it's signed up as a distribution partner. The manufacturer's sales head has also mentioned that the handset will be released in China this December, followed by India shortly after.

The Indian pricing will range between Rs. 18,000 and Rs.

Are you still exited about the Meizu M8 MiniOne?

Well, after all those delays and tweaks, we will actually see the first device live in August. Atleast that's what Meizu CEO J. Wong says in his post at the company's website. The first version of the handset will only have 128MB of RAM and no ROM, but the final version expected to be available in October will feature 256MB of RAM and a whole 8GB of internal storage.

We have several photos of the Meizu M8's new tweaked UI, which supposedly makes the device look less similar to the Apple iPhone. I don't know…

Apparently, Meizu M8 MiniOne has good chances to be launched in the US, as it will soon debut at the CES convention in Las Vegas.

The device is very similar to the iPhone, and we kno Apple certainly won't like this.

So beware Meizu, Apple won't tolerate any iPhone clones in their home market.

The device you see on the picture is actually Meizu M8, a perfect copy of the iPhone made by the Chinese manufacturer.

It looks even more Apple than the original, as they gave it a glossy white finish instead of a black one. Let's hope the device is real. Regarding specs, the M8 features GSM and TD-SCDMA for 3G data, a 3.

Meizu CEO Mr. Wong posted some tips about Meizu M8, this handset will come in two versions. An entry-level version without camera and a standard version. Meizu M8 miniOne has a 720x480 16-bit 3.32-inch display. It is also known, that the owners of the Entry Model will be able to separately buy a camera add-on later.

Aproximative pricing will be as follows:

• M8 Entry Model: 1499 CNY for 4GB, 2199 CNY for 8GB
• M8 Standard: 2380 CNY for 4GB, 3080 CNY for 8GB 

The pricing in USD equals to $195, $285, $310 and $400 respectively.
