The highly-anticipated Samsung Memoir, as expected, as beel released today on T-Mobile US' network. The phone in available now for $249 with a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate, or for $499.99 with no commitment.

According to T-Mobile Scoop February 2009 edition, the carrier will be announcing the new 8Mpix Samsung T929 Memoir cameraphone by end of this month for its customers. The launch of the handset is scheduled for Feb 25th.

The launch of Samsung's Memoir T929 that was scheduled for February 18th was delayed till February 25th. Well, we can wait a week longer. This 8Mpix cameraphone is bound to be a good seller anyway, even with a price point of $299.99. Besides, all willing will be able to play with the handset at MWC event next month.
Today FCC has approved the new Samsung T929 Memoir destined for T-Mobile. This could only mean that this 8Mpix beast is nearing its official release.
