Nokia 2630 and Nokia 2760 are two new stylish entry-level cell phones, equipped with cameras and Bluetooth.

Nokia 2630 is the company's thinnest handset measuring just 9.9mm. Pictures taken on the phone's camera can be shared via Bluetooth. The phone also has email support, calendar and calculator. There is no MP3 player on this one, but FM radio is present.

According to the NPD Group, adults today play more mobile games than kids.

Each month more than 29 million consumers play mobile games. Users between the ages of 25 and 34 download and play more games than any other age group.

In 2006 mobile games were downloaded by consumers aged:

25 to 34 - 29%
18 to 24 - 27%
13 to 17 - 15%

Same goes to game playing activity (at least once a day):

25 to 34 - 50%
18 to 24 - 50%
13 to 17 - 41%

This situation can be explained easily: there are a lot more adult cell phone subscribers than teen users.

AT&T will soon lunch the Option GT Max 3.6 Express ExpressCard and later in May the Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U mobile broadband USB device. They both use AT&T's 3G BroadbandConnect service and are able to download a 1 MB file in about 15 seconds. These devices can be used in 125 countries, where AT&T is present.

The Option GT Max 3.6 Express works in newer notebooks with ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slots, and features a flip-up antenna and uses Advanced Receiver Technology for improved 3G performance.

A new mobile phone from Nokia was found on an online cellphone shop.

There was very little information about its features. The device has no model number, that is why it was code-named the Nokia High Fashion mobile phone. It has a cool smooth modern design and features a 2Mpix still/video camera, MP3 player, and 1GB of internal memory.

The release date is yet unknown.

The SPV E650 is a new smartphone from Orange Business Services for the UK market. It is the first smartphone for business users running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 and will be available exclusively from Orange until the beginning of May.

The SPV E650 costs around GBP 165 for UK business customers, or free depending on the contract.

Kajeet teams up with Nickelodeon to distribute mobile content for kids, which will include ringtones, wallpapers, and games based on popular Nickelodeon shows.

Verizon Wireless has become Adobe's exclusive North American wireless carrier partner for distributing Adobe mobile applications like FlashCast. FlashCast service gives users access to a multitude of V Cast Mobile TV channels.
This service is expected to be fully available in the second half of this year.

Verizon has also introduced two new phones that support V Cast Mobile TV - LG VX9400 and Samsung's SCH-u620.

Nokia is to set up a mobile device manufacturing plant in the county of Cluj in Romania. The construction work will begin in spring 2007 and production is expected to start in the first half of 2008. The Cluj factory will be company's 11th mobile device production facility.

Nokia decided to establish a new factory in Romania because of the increasing demand for mobile devices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

LG VX9400 is the second V-CAST Mobile TV phone for Verizon. The 9400 strikes by its design.  The screen swivels horizontally for TV watching. Some troubles occur when you want to use the numeric keypad, which is under it. The LG VX9400 has 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD memory card and Bluetooth v 1.2.

The LG VX9400 is available for $199.

It is became known from Verizon that they are going to release the first game show for their mobile phone subscribers.

“The Limbo Show” is how the show is called, offers “Limbo Auctions” the idea is that subscribers can win prizes for just a few dollars. The start is today and a 50 inch big screen HDTV is up waiting. The Limbo Show being part game show and part text messaging is available to all V-Cast subscribers.
