These specs were recently posted on the Motorola website, but were taken down shortly after. We expect to hear an offical announcement/confirmation by VZW tomorrow, on October 28.

The list includes pretty much everything we wanted to know about the Motorola Droid:

• Android 2.0 (Eclair);
• 3.7" WVGA touch display (480 x 854 pixels);
• full QWERTY keyboard;
• 550MHz processor;
• EVDO Rev.

Just to point this out: stay tuned for tomorrow's Motorola Droid announcement by Verizon Wireless. The device is labeled the "most desirable" and "must-have" phone of the year.

Many of you have probably heard of the new Motorola Droid handset for Verizon. There's a dedicated site with the countdown timer (sort of) and a "iDon't Droid Does" TV commercial, indicating that the official launch is around the corner.

Waiting for Motorola CLIQ? Well, it's currently available to T-Mobile USA customers, and will be released globally on November 2. The phone's price in the U.S. is $199.99 on a 2-year agreement, so expect similar prices from other carriers.

Sprint is now offering the Motorola i856 Debut, a Nextel Direct Connect PTT slider phone, which is also available from Boost Mobile. You can get it for just $99 after rebate with new contract.

Sprint has added a new color to its Motorola i776. The phone is now available in purple and still costs $80 on contract.

Motorola and Orange UK have recently released the Motorola Dext Android smartphone. The new handset features MOTOBLUR UI, and can sync contacts, posts, feeds, messages, e-mails, photos from social services like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, Yahoo, your work e-mail and LastFM.

The DEXT is available for free to Orange customers in the UK who choose a 2-year contract with a £34.

Motorola Entice W766 has been recently released and is available to Verizon customers for $39.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. All willing can get it now at Verizon Wireless stores and online.
