Verizon Wireless presents Motorola Q Black

In May Verizon Wireless introduced Q phone series, and now it presents another Q - The Motorola Q Black with a sleek new black exterior and is just 11.5mm thick, with QVGA display with 65k colors. The phone has 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth with A2DP support.

There are such features of the Motorola Q:

  • EV-DO high-speed data
  • Windows Mobile 5.

Motorola begins selling MOTOFONE F3

Motorola began supply the MOTOFONE F3 . It's an extremely simple phone, with just 9mm which makes it one of the thinnest cell phones in existence, for "the next billion users" as Motorola says. The phone is proud by the most unique feature such as an electronic ink screen that uses very little power and is readable in full sunlight.

The Motorola MOTOFONE F3 is available in India and will soon emerge on other markets too.

Motorola launches ROKR E6 in China

Motorola launches their smoking, linux-based ROKR E6 in China. This is14.5-mm thin device that with GSM 900/1800 bands.

ROKR E6 has a 2.4-inch, 260k color QVGA touch-screen with stylus, a 2 megapixel camera and push-to-talk capabilities in addition to handwriting recognition, a QR code (barcode) scanner, business card reader, and document viewer for PDF and the most common MS Office applications.

Motorola Inc. is going to purchase broadband gateway provider Netopia Inc. on the agreement valued at $208 million. After the news was made public Motorola's stock increased about $21.35 per share. Motorola announced that this acquisition advances their vision by strengthening the Connected Home Solutions business position as a leading supplier of technology and services to telecom providers worldwide.
