Motorola Morrison specs

For those interested we present the leaked speclist of the upcoming Android-based Motorola CLIQ MB200 Morrison. As you can see it has basically the same setup as the HTC G1, myTouch, and Hero, and we'd like to see something different:

  • CPU: Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz;
  • Memory: 256MB RAM;
  • Flash Rom: 512 MB;
  • Memory Card Type: microSDHC, Class 6, 32 GB supported (max);
  • Display: 320×480 (HVGA);
  • Accelerometer: 3-axis, Four-way screen rotation;
  • Magnetometer;
  • Proximity Sensor;
  • Ambient Light Sensor;
  • Voice Bands: GSM 850/900/1800/1900, W-CDMA 900/(1700 or 1900)/2100;
  • Wireless Lan:  802.

Motorola came up with another WinMo-based smartphone, apparently headed for the Chinese market. The new A3300, according to the available images is a full touchscreen fhandset with touch sensitive buttons beneath the display and a 5Mpix camera with an LED flash.

Motorola is known for prepping up a new sliding QWERTY Android handset for Verizon (the first Android phone to be offered this carrier) sometime later this year. But it's not Calgary, as we originally assumed.

The newly discovered Android-powered Motorola Morrison with support for T-Mobile 3G bands and UMA has been approved by the FCC. Unfortunately, there are no new pictures of it available, but expect it to be officially announced in the near future.

Verizon getting a Motorola branded Android handset in Q4?

According to the Street, tipped by an anonymous Motorola employee, the company is planning to release an Android powered handset on Verizon in the 4th quarter of 2009.

We suppose the said handset is the upcoming CDMA Motorola Calgary, which was unveiled back in April. It comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and runs Android OS, but that's basically all we know about it atm.
