T-Mobile's Sidekick Slide is now off sale until Motorola fixes a defect in the handset.

The carrier has recently received a number of complains from customers whose phones turn off when the screen is slid open or closed. All Slide owners who have the same problem should contact customer support to return the device into a T-Mobile store.

Sprint began advertising the new Motorola Q2, which is basically the same model as the Q9m from Verizon , just a bit customized.

The phone should feature CDMA connectivity, Windows Mobile 6 OS, Bluetooth, miniSD slot, and 1.3Mpix camera.

It will cost $150 with a 2-year agreement.

Motorola has introduced yet another Bluetooth headset, called the MOTOPURE H12.

Its main point of attraction is the "CrystalTalk", the company's own audio enhancement technology also used in cell phones. The device is very small and lightweight and uses TrueComfort design that will let you forget you're wearing it.

AT&T is going to release today  the Motorola Q9h Global 3G smartphone.

The device supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band HSDPA 3.6MBps networks, runs on Windows Mobile 6 OS, and features a QWERTY keyboard, built-in GPS, 2Mpix camera with flash and 7 shortcut keys to frequently used applications.

A month after the U.S. release the MOTORAZR2 V9 became available in Canada from Rogers Wireless.

It will be selling for C$299 with a 3-year agreement, or C$459.99 contract free.

Just to remind you of the phone's specifications, it comes with two displays, a 2Mpix camera, support for stereo Bluetooth, a Windows Media Player 11 compatible media player, and microSD slot.

The Motorola ROKR Z6m music phone is now available from Alltel.

This CDMA slider handset supports EV-DO data and features a 65K QVGA display, 2Mpix camera, 3.5mm stereo jack, stereo Bluetooth, integrated GPS receiver, USB interface, and a microSD card slot (up to 2GB).

The price is $129.

Several pictures of the Motorola RIZR Z10 concept phone were taken at the Symbian Smartphone show yesterday.

The new handset is a successor of the Z8; it operates on Symbian OS over UIQ interface and lacks the touch-screen.

An interesting feature here is the “video slideshow” capability, allowing users to create their own video clips by combining random movies, images, sounds and text.

Motorola is ready to release its two new Bluetooth headsets, called the H680 and H375.

Both support TrueComfort and EasyPair technologies to better fit the user's ear and easily connect to the phone.

The stylish H680 also comes with a microUSB connector and battery good for 9 hours of talk-time and 12 days of standby.

The new Motorola RIZR Z10 will be soon available in Europe.

It is a UIQ 3.1 powered handset featuring quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G connectivity, a 2.2" 320x240 16M color display, a 3.2Mpix camera with AF and video recording capability at 30fps 320x240 resolution.

The Z10 will be released in December with a price tag of 400 Euros.

T-Mobile started offering the Motorola RAZR2 V8.

This quad-band GSM/EDGE clamshell phone operates on Motorola's Linux-Java OS and comes with stereo Bluetooth, touch-sensitive controls, 2Mpix camera, and 2GB of on-board memory (no microSD slot).

The price is $250 with 2-year contract.
