Motorola has introduced four new handsets in its W series of budget phones, two of which are available in the U.S.

The first is the W377, a tri-band GSM clamshell with light up icons instead of an external display. Features include Bluetooth, VGA camera, FM radio and MP3 ringtones.

The second is W175, a dual-band GSM candybar phone similar in design to the FONE, but with a small color screen.

Motorola has just unveiled its new U9 music clamshell.

The phone supports quad-band GSM network, and comes with a borderless touch-sensitive external display, stereo Bluetooth, a 2Mpix camera, an included 4GB microSD card, and updated voice recognition software.

It is also compatible with Windows Media Player 11 for side-loading music.

Boost Mobile has introduced two new Motorola iDEN handsets, the i425t and the i425e.

Both phones are extremely thin and lightweight, measuring just 0.5" and weighing 3.88 oz, and come in candybar form factor with the first available in titanium gray/black slate trim while the latter is white with an espresso trim.

Alltel subscribers will soon be able to get their hands on several new handsets in the nearest future.

And now by order: the first is Palm Treo 755p smartphone, not the best option to choose; next is the Blackberry Pearl 8130, which will launch along with the 755p; and the last smartphone is the one named UTStarcom 6850, probably a re-branded version of the HTC Mogul.

Motorola has unveiled a new version of its fastest-selling MC70 mobile digital assistant, which now comes with an in-built GPS receiver.

The device is shock protected and is designed to operate in almost any harsh environment providing full functionality.

It uses SIRF III technology for GPS coverage and supports EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.

T-Mobile has just announced two Sidekick phones, the LX and Slide.

Both are quad-band GSM/EDGE handsets with Bluetooth connectivity, microSD slot (4GB max), 1.3Mpix cameras, and the new mobile MySpace application.

The LX, manufactured by Sharp, is a successor to the Sidekick 3 featuring a 3" WQVGA screen, 128MB microSD card and camera flash.
