Sprint, O2 and Movistar Now issuing Palm webOS 1.4 update

This new update brings video recording, Flash, enhanced message notifications and much-desired performance and battery life improvements to Palm's Pre and Pixi handsets - all packed in a 39MB file. The official changelog can be viewed here. Now available for download to Sprint, O2 and Movistar subscribers.

GSM Palm Pre on Movistar

Here's the first official press photo of the GSM Palm Pre. Now it's clear that Movistar will be selling the handset in Spain. We should note that Movistar, like O2 UK, is owned by Telefonica, which apparently got an exclusive right to offer the Pre in Europe.

Movistar ZTE E810 Coming Soon to Vodafone

It looks like the Movistar ZTE E810 will soon be available from Vodafone. As seen from the pic, it's a pretty ugly low-end handset, with no support for 3G or Wi-Fi. In other words we're not really interested in it. Other features of the ZTE E810 include:

  • 1.3Mpix camera;
  • 2.5" QVGA 65k color display;
  • 64MB RAM;
  • Bluetooth
