A couple of months ago Motorola presented its 2008 line up of phones, one of which was the Motorola E10.

Codenamed "Texel", the handset has recently appeared in the wild and apparently will be in the ROKR series. Some of the features of the upcoming device include touchscreen, 3G connection, 3Mpix camera, advanced music player, and probably Wi-Fi.

A Howard Forums member gave us the idea how the upcoming LG VX8560 music flip phone will look like.

You can see it on the photo to the left. It has a red-colored profile, dedicated music keys, and a small camera on top of the external screen. Unfortunately, no details concerning the phone's specs were unveiled so far.

The second handset you see on the picture is the LG VX9700 scheduled to be released by Verizon in May.

The new Nokia Xpress Music 5610 with T-Mobile branding has been spotted recently in the Web.

This is definitely good news for Nokia fans anxious to get their hands on this 9.5mm thick music-centric cell phone.

Currently we don't know how much it will cost and where it will be available, but we expect to see features like 3.2Mpix camera, microSD card slot, and enhanced multimedia functionality.

Samsung has declared the famous Lebanese singer Elissa as its brand ambassador of the new 2008 music phone lineup.

The first handset in this category is the Impulz i450, a music-centric phone packed with Elissa's three hit singles, including Ayami Bik, Bastanak and Moush Kiteer Aaleik.

The phone has a dual-slider design, and offers great sound quality, intuitive controls, dedicated music interface, and other cool features.

Last week LG has presented its new music-centric handset, the LG KM500.

Its key features include support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, a 2" 240 x 320 resolution TFT display, a 2Mpix camera, built-in music player supporting MP3/AAC++/WMA formats, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, as well as a microSD card slot for additional storage.

Soundbuzz, one of the largest Southeast Asian music providers was acquired by Motorola.

This means that the company's MotoMusic service will soon include a music collection of over 750,000 songs and 500,000 mobile music derivatives that will be available for download to users in the Asia-Pacific region.

FCC has just approver the Nokia RM-359 also known as the 5610 XpressMusic . Just to let you know, the same device has already passed the FCC last month, but was marked RM-358.

Anyway, here are the specifications of the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic:

• OS: Symbian Series 40 Edition;

Check out the Sony Ericsson W580im, a new music-centric slider cell phone.

It is i-mode-compatible and features Shake control functionality, which allows to change tracks in your playlist by shacking the handset.

The package also includes a stereo headset and PC software for easy music transfer.

Motorola W230 and W270 are two newly announced entry-level music-centric handsets.

They both feature Motorola's CrystalTalk technology to reduce background noise and provide excellent sound quality.

The W230 is a bar-style phone with a choice of two interchangeable faceplates (licorice/silver and titanium gray/mandarin).

The LG U8500/U880 is one of the best 3G music phones to date.

Released back in November, this ultra-slim handset gained serious popularity among consumers and received excellent reviews in the global media. Furthermore, LG has recently released the U8500 Cavalli Edition, which is expected to boost sales.
