If you recall, recently at the MWC show Samsung has showcased its new flagship smartphone, the G810.

HTC Advantage fans will be glad to hear this. HTC has unveiled the updated version of its Advantage smartphone at the Mobile World Congress.

Here's a list of changes made:

• 16GB of storage instead of 8GB;
• Different haptic feedback keyboard;
• Opera Mobile 9 Browser;
• Google Maps;
• A new version of VueFLO using a G-sensor that recognizes the screen orientation;
• HTC TouchFLO software for easier finger navigation;
• HTC Home Today screen.

Gigabyte presented a couple of new G-Smart series handsets at the MWC show today, one of which was the MS800.

It is a 3.5G-capable GPS-enabled smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. The release is scheduled on Spring 2008.

• Marvel 520MHz PXA270 CPU;
• Quad-band GSM (850/900/180/1900);
• UMTS (2100), HSDPA (2100MHz) at 7.

Today at Mobile World Congress LG has unveiled yet another cell phone, the LG KB620.

It is a TV-enabled 3G clamshell with an integrated DVB-H receiver, internal antenna, and support for HSDPA 7.2Mbps, providing lightning fast data speeds.

BenQ presented its two new smartphones at MWC, the NFC-capable T80 and the lower-end T60.

The first model features a 2.2" display, 3Mpix camera, microSD slot, uses Near Field communication technology, and is DLNA compliant.

The T60 is an ordinary smartphone equipped with a 2Mpix camera and the largest screen among all handsets thinner than 10mm.

Sony Ericsson has extended its G-series with the new G700 and G900 smartphones with PDA functionality.

In other words, these are two "touchscreen organizers" that “keep your contacts, calendars, notes, pictures and favorite Web sites all in one place and just a fingertip away”.

Meet the XPERIA X1, a new high-end smartphone from Sony Ericsson.

It was presented yesterday at MWC show in Barcelona and has all the chances to become a real hit.

There aren't too many details about this handset, but as far as we know it runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS and comes with a 3" touch-screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a touch-sensitive trackball.
